- Liabilities
- Vins Services Pte. Ltd. (hereby knows as VINS) will not be liable for any amount or type of damages due to improper packing. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient and suitable packaging are utilized to keep shipment well protected from any form of damages, which include but are not limited to dropping, moving and stacking of goods, contact with rain, moisture, temperature, and other environmental elements. For fragile items, the inner and outer packaging should be strengthened using wooden box, wooden frame, or wooden pallet. Otherwise, any damages and the resulting liabilities will be held responsible by the customer.
- In the event of lost and /or damaged item due to mishandling, VINS is liable to compensate the customer based on the declared value of the goods within 1 month. Food product eaten or bitten by rat will not be compensated, however we will try to ensure our warehouse is free of rats.
- VINS will not be liable for any duties and taxes that may arise during and after shipment. Customers are solely liable for any duties and taxes arising from shipping their goods.
- Any shipment which involves a false declaration of value and/or content of goods, and/or includes undeclared controlled and/or prohibited items will bear the consequences of having the goods completely, partially returned or confiscated. Customers are completely liable for any penalties /fines issued by Customs authorities. There will be no compensation and VINS does not guarantee that confiscated goods will be returned to the customer.
- All claims must be submitted in writing (email) to VINS within 24 hours of delivery, failing which VINS shall have no liability whatsoever.
- VINS is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of circumstances beyond our control. These include but are not limited to electrical or magnetic damage to, or erasure of, electronic or photographic images, data or recordings; any defect or characteristic related to the nature of the shipment, even if known to VINS; any act or omission by a person not employed or contracted by VINS e.g. Receiver, third party, customs or other government official; “Force Majeure” – e.g. earthquake, tsunami, cyclone, storm, flood, fog, war, plane crash, vessel sink or embargo, riot or civil commotion, industrial action.
- Delivery Services
- Your goods will be delivered to your doorstep, unless otherwise stated. As long as your goods is able to fit into the lift, building entrance and walkway, can be delivery by a 14ft box up lorry and manual move by two manpower with maximum allowed weight for each manual lifting of 25 kg without use of mechanical equipment (For example, crane lorry, forklift) using a trolley. Otherwise, your goods will only be delivered to ground floor, void deck, loading bay, parking lot, or place whichever is reasonable for both parties.
- We will not be responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever caused to your goods if you have decided to make arrangements, including, but not limited to, allowing other parties such as family, friend or neighbour to sign the delivery order on behalf of you, leaving the goods unattended on premises, other than signing the delivery order personally in the presence of delivery man.
- Customer must perform a quick inspection in the presence of delivery man by checking the total number of goods before signing the delivery order.
- Customer is required to inform in writing (Email), including photo of contents and delivery order for any claims of lost / damaged goods within 24 hours. VINS is liable to compensate the customer based on the declared value of the goods within 1 month.
- Customer must immediately notify us in the case of an incorrect goods being received.
- We will charge you an additional service fee for overweight or oversized goods which require additional manpower or equipment for moving, unpacking, and disposing of the packaging materials. And, if your location is not lift service provided or there’s no lift that reaches the level of your location.
- Our charges are as follow:
- Change of address or did not show up on the actual date of delivery once is confirmed by the customer.
- Redelivery fee as follows:
0.1 -1 CBM SGD $30 1.01 – 2 CBM SGD $36 2.01 – 3 CBM SGD $42 3.01 – 6 CBM SGD $54 6.01 CBM and above SGD $9.60/CBM
- Redelivery fee as follows:
- Overtime fee of SGD $50/CBM for delivery outside of normal working hours (9am – 6pm) as per request by the customer.
- Storage Fee of SGD $2.5/CBM/Day for your packages that have exceeded the 1-week free storage period in our warehouse upon received our phone call to arrange for delivery.
- Unpacking and Disposal Fee of SGD $20 – $50 per item subject to the size for unpack/uncrate and dispose of packing materials at our warehouse or customer’s premises as per request by the customer.
- Additional Manpower fee of SGD $80 per manpower per trip for oversized and/ or overweight package to delivery to doorstep if customer is unable to provide.
- 24ft Lorry Transport Fee of SGD $150 per trip for oversized and / or overweight package that is unable to fit inside 14ft box up lorry.
- Crane Lorry Transport Fee of SGD $150 per trips for goods which contain pallet of floor/ wall tiles and / or goods which require crane lifting.
- Manual Lifting Fee of SGD15/flat of staircases/trip/item/manpower. This is provided to the places wherever do not have lift access to reach but the item able to be manual lifted within weight limitation (25KG/item/manpower).
- Change of address or did not show up on the actual date of delivery once is confirmed by the customer.
- We at VINS reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time without notice and, unless otherwise indicated, such changes will become effective immediately. Therefore, please do check these terms periodically for such changes.
- Using our services indicates that you have read, accepted and agreed to be bounded not only by all the terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all of these terms and conditions in entirety, please do not use our service.
